On October 20, 2021, the annual meeting of the Chinese Stomatological Association was held in Shanghai. During the meeting, the "Blue Book of Oral Mucosal Health: Maintenance of Chinese Oral Mucosal Health (2021)" was released.
The public often has such confusion: what is the oral mucosa? Where is the oral mucosa? Can the oral mucosa also get sick? Where to look for oral mucosal disease? Does the hospital have an oral mucosal disease department?
In order to popularize oral mucosal health knowledge and solve the series of problems raised by the public, the Chinese Stomatological Association specially invited Liu Hongwei and other four oral mucosal disease experts to write the "Oral mucosal health blue book: maintenance of oral mucosal health in China (2021)". It is hoped that this will answer questions, solve the confusion of the public, improve the public's awareness of oral mucosal health knowledge, enhance people's awareness of preventing oral mucosal diseases, and achieve the purpose of maintaining oral mucosal health, maintaining oral health, and improving general health.
The oral cavity is an important part of the body, and oral health is also an important part of the overall health. The oral health standards proposed by the World Health Organization are: no chronic pain in the oral and maxillofacial region, oropharyngeal cancer, oral ulcers, congenital defects such as cleft lip and palate, dental Weekly (gum) disease, caries, tooth loss, and other diseases and disorders that affect the mouth.
Oral ulcers are oral mucosal diseases, and other oral diseases also include many oral mucosal diseases. Having oral mucosal disease means losing the health of the oral mucosa. Without oral health, it also affects the health of the whole body.
In order for the people to pay attention, only by popularizing the oral mucosal health knowledge, arousing the public's awareness of caring for the oral mucosa, and guiding the masses to pay attention to the health of the oral mucosa, so as to protect the oral health of the people.
